Ejector Pin
The ejector pin frees chips stuck on mounting tape. We provide 3 types of products for suitable for various applications (normal, thin die and small size die).
The products are available in a range of standard and custom sizes in both high speed steel and tungsten carbide.

Normal (Type 1)

Description
The most widely used type of pin, best suited to normal size & normal thickness die pick-up.
The rounded pin point allows for die pick-up and prevents the mounting tape from being pierced. This is helpful in preventing damage to the back-side of the die during the pick-up process.
Flat (Type 2)

Description
Best suited for thin die pick-up. The flat pin point prevents the die from cracking during ejection.
Bottle neck (Type 3)

Description
The narrow size of the pin point of the bottle neck design makes this type best suited for small die pick-up.
